Zones (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

Spard: *turns a corner and readies his knife, then proceeds to attempt to stab the guard*

((Waiting on alex right now))

((Oh, Alex!))

Pyre: *he sees Carissa run out of the room* [CENSORED]! *he bursts out of the door then rushes into the politician's room, he slices off the man's index finger with a looks of disgust then proceeds to climb into the hole in the ceiling. He scurries through the cross space muttering curses then climbs down the elevator shaft and disappears out of the back of the building*

Guard: *spard's attack hits home and the guard falls*

Carissa: *sees spard and runs over seeming distressed* oh darling! There was an explosion! *she pulls him towards the door and out the gates along with the other franticly fleeing people... When they reach the street instead of turning down it she leads him down a different ally way... As soon as they are out of sight she releases his hand.*

Pyre: *tracks Carissa, he notes the unexpected turn and follows, he nears the "couple" silently*

Carissa: *her ability alerts her of a nearing presence and she takes off into a sprint... She says* meet me where we first met... We are being followed... *she suddenly turns running up the wall of a building and onto the roof*

Pyre: *sees her and cusses under his breath* A mutant... *he takes off in the direction she went*

Spard: *runs out of the building into Zone 1, where they first met*

Neko coughs and looks around the tunnels.

Carissa: *she can feel his presence and takes off running full speed over houses... She reaches a wall of the zone and starts rapidly climbing upwards*

Pyre: *climbs aw best he can to the entrance, he's navigated these tunnels before*

((Uh... Wrong area... She is climbing up inside the league zone... In the ceiling there is a hole that leads to where she gets most of her jobs... It's safer there for her because mutants there don't like newcomers... But it's very smoggy or smoky so she has a harder time breathing))

Carissa: *pushes herself a tiny but faster*

((Ok))

Pyre: *manages to climb into the entrance*

Carissa: *whistles.. Several mutants stick their heads out of dark buildings and load their guns at the signal... She runs but finally has to slow because she is having trouble getting air... She coughs and tries to move quickly... She staggers slightly coughing again... She reaches for her cloth to cover her mouth and nose but it isn't on her... She gasps as she continues to push forward trying to make it to the bar where she will have more protection*

Pyre: *appears through the entrance, he looks around, ready to dodge at a moments notice, he begins walking swiftly down the passageway*

*a couple mutants suddenly appear with weapons to attack... He can hear her footsteps up ahead slowing and her coughing and gasping for breath*

Carissa: *is still a mile from the bar... She realizes she can't make it that far.. She has to rest... She sees the old rundown building and goes inside... She goes to a dark veiled corner and sits down trying to catch her breath*

Pyre: *speeds by them easily, knocking a couple of nerve toxin darts in their necks, he speeds towards the building*

Carissa: *rests her head back against the wall... She breathes raggedly but readies her weapon*

Pyre: *finds her and aims his gun at her head, he stands tall and his tone os flat* Are you working for Omega...

Carissa: *she wheezes and gasps but manages to weakly say* listen... I don't know what you are talking about... *she coughs*

Pyre: *his voice is lethal* Don't lie to me. You're an assassin. Are. You. Omega.

((She would probably know the name and the meaning of it))

Carissa: I do jobs for pay... I don't do jobs because someone tells me to... I pick my own

Pyre: *he sees truth in her eyes, he lowers his gun, his gaze is still dark* I hope for your sake that is true. *he sighs, his muscles relax*

Carissa: *coughs again and gasps... She wheezes a little more and pulls herself to her feet...* I take it you don't get along with omega... *she stands with her hand on the wall for a moment then shifts sideways... She keeps facing him though... She obviously feels vulnerable... She knows she would have no chance if he decided to kill her*
