Zones (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

Pyre: *walks silently down the tunnel*

Carissa: *is asleep... Her head is leaned back against the wall as she sits by spard*

*a strong smell of blood fills the tunnel as Pyre nears*

Carissa: *even in her sleep she recognizes the smell of blood and is immediately wide awake with her blade in hand... She crouches and quickly scans the area*

Pyre: *his presence can be felt though his steps are silent, even in the dim light he sees her clearly, he sounds different* You're early...

Carissa: *tilts her head... She slowly stands...* yes... *she looks towards his presence waiting for him to enter sight* and you smell of blood..

Pyre: *steps into the light, he seems taller, his back strong and his muscles tense. His eyes flash as if talking in everything. He walks at a normal pace, but it almost seems unnaturally slow. His voice is odd, he simply states* Usually do... *he heads toward the door* Sorry you had to wait

Carissa: *looks at him with a fascinated and curious expression* you sound different too...

Pyre: *as he nears she can see that he is covered in blood, he knocks on the door, and says something. The door opens*

Carissa: *steps forward* what happened? *she looks at the amount of blood... She has for the moment forgotten spard*

Pyre: *the door closes behind them. He seems extremely alert and doesn't look directly at Carissa* A job.

Carissa: *tenses... He comes across as cold and short with her* I certainly wouldn't have guessed... I just assumed you decided to swim in blood...  * * listen... If you don't want to talk to me that's fine... However I do need a 2nd room for my friend to stay in...

Spard: *wakes up and looks at Pyre distrustfully*

Pyre: *cocks his head to the side, but still doesn't look at her, he seems distant as he walks towards the rooms* I am talking to you now? And of course, he can have a room after I question him. I need to know him better if I am to vouch for him...

Carissa: *looks at spard to see his reaction*

Spard: I'm fine with that.

Pyre: Good. *gestures to a door and looks to Carissa, his eyes seem to see right through her* I prepared this room for you.

Carissa: *has an odd expression on her face* thank you pyre...

Pyre: *nods and grins, his eyes seem to focus on her a bit more* My pleasure

Carissa: *she smiles back and the glances at spard* I will will probably see you later... If not then in the morning... *she looks back at pyre and she still has a bit of an odd look on her face*

Spard: What happens If I fail the questioning?

Pyre: *shrugs* You leave the shelter...

Spard: Good, I thought you would kill me.
