"Lamia... It's completely fine... No one was hurt..."
Caleb looks to her lovingly.

((Archivesssss))

Lamia: *shakes* Yes they were! *she weeps* Just like I was! B-but not as badly

Caleb kisses her cheek.
"Please... Don't blame yourself... It's fine...."

Lamia: *sobs*

Avet: *looks at Zeb*

Zeb: *sighs* lamia... We aren't angry at you... Part of sarka was inside you... You couldn't help it... *turns to avet* why don't we leave them to themselves for a while...

Avet: *nods and starts to walk out*

Lamia: *weeps bitterly, remembering what Zeb said to her as if it was another life* I'm so sorry Zeb *this is the first time she hasn't called him Zebulon* I-I hope you can forgive me

Zeb: *hesitates* I already have lamia... But it will be awhile before I can trust you... *walks out behind avet*

Diem: *fell asleep in nymph's arms*

Shyrii: *curls up with v*

Lamia: *cries harder*

((*finally is developing a backstory for her*))

Zeb: *sighs and catches up to avet... He takes her hand*

Avet: .... Was that last part really necessary

Zeb: *He doesn't answer... He closes his eyes as he walks... He keeps his thoughts away from lamia and what happened and concentrates on the sounds around him... He knows it was probably harsh but he was being honest... She would have heard his thoughts anyway... How can he trust her... Zeb has managed to keep most of his feelings to himself... No one would understand what he felt... The piece of sarka that is in lamia knew just how to hurt him...*

Lamia: *hears him trying to restrain but much slips through, her crying is bitter, her whole body shakes*

Avet: *sees his expression and looks down*

((Uh... Does that mea you want me to write out his thoughts? I'm kinda saving part of them))

((No, i'm just saying that his thoughts make lamia sad... And they would))

Avet: *tucks her arm beneath his*

Zeb: *opens his eyes and smiles softly at her but his eyes are hiding something...* tired?

Avet: *see's his restraint and sighs, she shakes her head*

Zeb: ok... Well I'm still kinda tired... It is really early... Like four am... So if you don't mind I'll get some sleep... You can join me if you'd like or do something else...

Avet: Oh... *she wasn't shaking her head in response to his question, she is quite exhausted* I'm coming

Zeb: ok... *they reach one of their rooms and he pulls off his shirt and pants... His back and neck as well as the back of his arms now have scars where the spikes protruded... He climbs into bed*

Shyrii: *sleeps with v*

Diem: *still asleep*

Avet: *winces when she sees the scars, she climbs in next to him* Will it ever end...

Zeb: will what end?

Avet: The struggle, the pain... It never ends *her voice is sad, thinking of Diem's disappearance and of the reason he's with them in the first place, of Lamia's pain and of the pain inflicted on their friends. She knows Hurricane feels outcast from the rest of them and she feels the group growing apart*

Zeb: i... I don't know avet... I wish I could tell you... But.. I don't know.. *pulls her into his arms*

Avet: *pulls herself against him, calmed by the sound of his steady heart*

Zeb: *he closes his eyes and quickly drifts off... His dreams are tormented and he occasionally flinches or gasps in his sleep*
