The Divide

Ryo's eyes widen and he turns to Kaz, the hooded figure's glowing eyes seem to be staring into Kaz's soul.
"How about you ask him yourself?"

Kaz: Since you are our tribe's leader, I decided you would know how to get it out of him.

Ryo: "Now is really not the time Kaz. Talk to him yourself while I get this sorted out."
Ryo looks back to the hooded figures.
"My apologies. Some of these people just don't know when not to interrupt."

Jasper: *sighs and looks at the mess... He digs through but nothing is left... His "parents" had passed away a year or two ago and up to that time they had helped him and kept his attempts at magic under control... He knew he shouldn't have been trying to work with spells but had though maybe he would get it this time... He cleans up what he can and then wanders towards the river*

Kaz: *walks down to the river* Hello, jasper.

Jasper: *almost jumps* oh.... Hey kaz...

Kaz: What happened back there?

Ryo nods and finishes his conversation before walking into the tent
"Now where did I put the water..."

Jasper: there was an explosion.... *looks at the water*

Kaz: *laughs* That's okay. I used to do that all the time.

Jasper: but... The spell was a mixing spell.... It didn't have anything to do with fire but suddenly everything... *sighs* never mind...

Kaz: It's fine. Are you though, is the question?

Ryo finds a canister of water and puts it into a bag with an odd rune on it. He dumps some sand into the bag and pulls out two full canisters. Ryo dumps some dirt on a makeshift table and pours one of the canisters of water over it, he squishes the mud into his hands, the mudball turning into clay. Ryo forms the clay into a pot and then hardens it quickly. He repeats this process a few times creating about twelve pots.

Jasper: *looks away* not like I have many other options...

Ryo trades off the pots which are now full of odd orbs and gains a variety of foodstuffs.

Jasper: *gets up and wanders back to the town...*

Ryo gives the foodstuff to some people in the tribe and enters the town.

Jasper: *is walking around and sees an odd box of items to be destroyed... He starts sifting through... He doesn't know what they are... He picks some pieces up and starts messing with the complex machines... He finds a tool and within a few minutes a machine that looks like a mouse sits in front of him... He smiles and messes with it some more.. Suddenly it squeaks... It sits up on its haunches looks at him curiously and runs up his arm... He grins at the "animal"*

((The mouse is one of the easiest animals to make but for him to make it with no prior experience is pretty good... I'm assuming the magicians wouldn't like having a mechanical creature living with them))

Ryo walks around and sees Jasper.
"Hey. Jasper. You should probably buy yourself a new tent."

Jasper: *is laughing lightly as the animal scurries up his shirt... He looks back at ryo* ok... I will... *the creature hops onto his shoulder and squeaks at the Mage*

Ryo's eyes narrow.
"I knew it..."

Jasper: *looks confused* knew what? *the mouse hops and climbs around his shoulders while squeaking with a slightly mechanical sound... He looks at the mouse* oh look! *picks it up then stands stepping towards ryo to show him the creature* I am not sure how I did this... Iv not heard of this type of magic but see! I made something that didn't explode! *grins excitedly and holds his hand out so ryo can hold the mouse... His eyes are bright*
