Dungeon world is essentially a watered down version of Dungeons and Dragons that picks out pretty much everything for you, though it still is incredibly fun to play. As for this thread, it will just be for Dungeon World and possibly tabletop role playing games in general. Every time there is a session I will be posting a recap of what happened. So far There have been two sessions:
Session One Recap Log:
A group of adventurers (Consisting of an evil cleric, a neutral Druid, a evil fighter, a neutral thief, a good Paladin, some bard and a few other adventurers that magically vanished for no discernible reason) stole a McGuffen and an air ship from some empire of sorts that was going to use it to destroy all plant life and doom humanity and we're trying to go to a nearby town to find a. Man in a clock tower that knew how to destroy the great evil that is the McGuffen. They were tracked down by two other airships, one which they sank, the other which spun out of control because the captain was a drunken lunatic. The captain of the stolen ship was none other than the evil fighter who left his duties to make himself a sandwich, this later got him brutally killed in the fiery explosion of the ship that surely happened due to his lack of importance and his player leaving early. The paladin, in a fit of brilliance, tied a rope to a nearby harpoon gun and shot it to another air ship, it latched on and he and the thief and the cleric went to the other ship with the rope that unfortunately hit the balloon on the other air ship. The Druid transformed into a bird and flew over there, bringing along the McGuffen while the fighter, bard and other characters that were over there died in the aforementioned crash. Hopefully. The new airship was sinking fast while the men on it attacked, the paladin and thief convinced the Captain to call off his small army while the cleric was trying to sneak in another kill, though, luckily, was stopped. The paladin decided that he should probably get to safe ground and climbs the balloon but starts slipping due to his heavy armor. He leaps off, praying to his god, Gatsby, that he will be safe. The Druid makes it to the ship as the cleric attempts the same thing that the paladin just did. The Druid, having to make a split second decision on who to save turns into a bronciasaurous to save everyone. The ship full of npc's and the thief lands safely but unfortunately, the Druid crushes the paladin under her large, dinosaur feet, and the three remaining 'Heroes' walk on with the McGuffen to the next town over.
Session Two Recap Log:
The group of adventurers wander the field for a while and meet up with a neutral charlatan who claimed to be THE AMAZING NOBODY, he claimed to be the worlds greatest wizard that has ever magicked. The group shrugged and said, "Whatever." And teamed up with him. Nobody(Charlatan) decided to talk to Rook(The Thief) and they decided to set up a scam after Rook remembered Nobody screwed his village(Which Rook hated) over. They went to the village and in a twist in the tabletop role playing game, they didn't go to a tavern. Instead, they moves onto the clock tower and talked to the senile old wizard who said that to destroy the McGuffen you would have to spit on it, which Nobody did, causing it to melt. The old man then faked a heart attacked and gave them a quest to go help the king who is in peril, then promptly fell asleep. Nobody decided to pickpocket the sleeping old man to see if he could get some scrolls or something. Nobody slipped his hand in the wizards pocket and pulled out two coins and a tarantula. The Druid attempted to diffuse this situation by turning into a female tarantula and distract the other one. It failed completely and the spider took a large bite into Nobody's flesh. Nobody crushed the spider and drank his antitoxin to save his life. Nobody tried to kick the old man for almost killing him but the Druid stopped him and they headed over to the castle which suspiciously had no guards. They entered and Nobody picked up a rock and slipped it into his pocket. The Druid turned into a humming bird and flew up to check out a window. The room the Druid could see was dark and cold. The Druid changed into a owl to peer into the completely empty room.

I can talk to dead people and make them answer my questions! Oh and eventually I will be able to control and make them fight for me too!
