Kaz: *tilts his hawk head, wondering what she's saying*

Zadian: *shivers* That's so......wrong.

Vanessa: in that case chocolate ICECREAM it is! *beams and orders*

Whisper: *exhales as if to sigh and nudges him with her soft nose... She nearly knocks over his considerably smaller bird body and then blinks*

Adelina: well you've already seen what my specialty is...

Alpha smiles and nods, going along with the order.

Zadian: I didn't mean to offend you, it's just that to me, growing up with real things all around me, it feels so weird.

((..... Uh... He is still in bird form... She is a horse... Just seems a touch weird...))

Adelina: I knew you did not mean that... Besides... What I make isn't quite the same... They are in a way living... A part of the person... They attache to the brain and become like an extra appendage...

Vanessa: *gets the ICECREAM and then hands him one* ok the movie will play in that room... Let's start there... Oh and ice cream melts after a bit...

Alpha nods.

Alpha walks with her into the movie.

Ryo looks confused.
"What's the cost of the magic?"

Aurora: Hundreds of years ago, a gift was given to the Thuaidh by a bird, the gift of prosperity and sight. A long as the Thuaidh followed the bird's instructions, they would prosper. The enchantment worked beautifully. The city grew and towered tall, the people flourished. The cheif's children... They would always be born in the same order. Eldest son, eldest daughter, second son, second daughter, third son, then only daughters afterward.... Each placement had a purpose, a payment...

Ryo nods, listening intently.

Zadian: Not to be offensive but that still seems unnatural.

Kaz: *morphs into a wild mustang*

Adelina: *looks down and nods... Her mind flashes over how much of her is actually not human... She looks away*

Vanessa: *smiles... They enter and she leads him to their seats... She sits... The countdown till the movie begins has started*

Whisper: *whinnies and tosses her head prancing slightly... She approaches him playfully*

Aurora: The eldest son us to be cheif, the second son is head of military, the third, of trade. As for the girls, the eldest is to be a diplomat, the second, a weapon. The second daughter is trained in lethal combat and war tactics, she works with the second son... Every other daughter, but the last, is sent to be an oracle in the temple *her voice sounds a bit haunted*

Kaz: *he rears up on his back legs, then chases Whisper*

Ryo: "I-is that bad?"

They are blinded with magic, yet see in a different way. They see everything, the past, the present, the future. They live in the temple, never leaving the walls for their entire life. An oracle's word is law.

Ryo blinks.
"I don't mean to offend you, but that does seem absolutely ridiculous to live like."

Aurora: *nods very slowly* The Thuaidh's success is entirely due to the oracles... There are *she closes her eyes* so many traditions

Ryo: "It certainly seems as if you don't like them."
