Zones (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

Rose: *stretches and gets up*

Carissa: *she coughs again and shifts*

Pyre: *wonders if she's having trouble breathing, he decides to wake her gently, he softly kisses her neck*

Carissa: *coughs again and starts to awake... As soon as she does she pushes herself off of him turning away, covering her mouth, and coughing violently... She gasps inhaling with difficulty and then coughs again...*

Spard: *gets up and gets dressed*

Rose: *finishes brushing her hair*

Pyre: C-Carissa? *he frantically tries to help her*

Carissa: *she coughs one especially hard racking cough that causes her to jerk slightly and then her coughing subsides and her breathing eases... She keeps her head turned away for a moment and wipes her mouth... She speaks softly* I.. I'm ok... Sorry pyre... *she looks at him with mild embarrassment*

((Can he smell blood pretty easily?))

((I'd say so, it's like smelling a food that your body's craving))

((Well he should be smelling a little blood after she coughed the last time... Hence the wiping her mouth))

Pyre: *his voice is quiet* Carissa... You're bleeding

Carissa: *looks down... At her hand that she coughed into... Sure enough blood is splattered on her hand... She sighs* I'll be fine...

Pyre: Would extra oxygen help? I'll have an extra vent put in your room... *he supports her weight with his arm*

Carissa: no.. I'm fine... Really... *she keeps her hand from his sight so he won't see how much blood she actually coughed up. she smiles at him softly*

Pyre: I smell more than a little *he shifts close to her and reaches for her hand*

Carissa: *tenses slightly but allows him to take her hand... She keeps it closed*

Rose: *exits her room... She wanders down the hall*

Spard: *leaves his room, looking for something to take his mind off of Carissa*

((Oh how ironic!))

Rose: *hums... She has her eyes closed because she knows the halls and no one usually is up at this time... She steps around the corner and runs directly into spard...* oh! *she starts to topple over*

Pyre: *lightly spreads her fingers and sees the blood, he frowns and gets up, he lifts Carissa up and carries her to his room*

Spard: *catches her before she can fall* Sorry about that.

Carissa: I'm ok pyre... It's just a little blood... This just happens ever so often...

Rose: *blushes* it was my fault... I had my eyes shut... I should have been watching...

Pyre: *doesn't speak, when they enter his room, the fresh oxygen hits them like a wall. He gently sets her on his cot*

Carissa: *breathes deeply... The oxygen does make her feel better* thank you pyre..

((Brb.. Dinner))

Pyre: *nods and wipes the blood from her hand with a towel*

Rose: I'm rose..

Carissa: I'm sorry...

Pyre: This isn't your fault. I'm sorry you have to go through this... *he tosses the towel on the ground and sits beside her*
