The Divide

Ryo: "No. Nothing works against it."

Aurora: *sighs slightly and looks deep in thought* Do you know anything more about them?

"It, and not really. Any attempts to learn about it always ends in failure and death."

Aurora: That's terrible! *she looks concerned* So strange... *she looks worried for his people, as if she already has a deep care for them*

Ryo looks behind him.
"Well the last time it showed up was about five years ago. I thought we finally got rid of it."

Aurora: *frowns* W-what happened?

"Old leader died."
Ryo says this nonchalantly.

Aurora: *her eyes are sad* That's terrible... I am so sorry *she can't help but wonder if this was Ryo's father*

"Don't be. It was a long time ago."

Aurora: *tries to read his expression to know what to say*

Ryo looks calm, but a bit tired.

Aurora: *gently places her delicate hand on his shoulder, her touch is surprisingly warm and soothing, her voice is soft* If there is anything I can do, just let me know

Kaz: I don't know, Whisper. It depends on if he lives at the top of a building or not.

Ryo closes his eyes and nods, he reopens them and looks to the setting sun.
"I'll see you later..."

Aurora: *looks concerned for him and nods* Be safe *she folds her hands in her lap and bows low* I will do whatever I can to protect your people *her voice is full of duty, yet is soft, caring, and genuine as well*

Ryo turns away, walking to his tent, he stops right before going in.
"Thanks..."
He enters the tent.

Aurora: *rises again and watches his tent for a moment before turning and wandering through the camp*

Whisper: *nods... She wraps her arms around herself to stop herself from trembling as the temperature drops*

Jasper: *sleeps*

Aurora: *wanders around, when the children see her they pull on their parent's sleeves and point at her, exclaiming that she's the "lady who makes the fun snow" Aurora laughs and the parents smile at her, nodding in greeting*

Whisper: *smiles at kaz... She looks a little cold in the night air  *

Ryo gets onto his sleeping mat, closing his eyes. He drifts off to sleep wondering what Aurora's move to the tribe will bring.
