Fairy tales... 4

Robyn watches Marina, looking as if in a dream like state. He shakes his head quickly, clearing his thoughts.
"That's good..."

Marina: *nods and beams up at him* Thank you again for the jewels, Robyn *her voice is like liquid light, warming him in the chill air* I have a few enchantments that should prove quite useful for you *her smile is kind and inviting*
((She is not used to how her "siren-ness" effects others, she wasn't around people much during her "service"))

Robyn seems to be lost in her words.
"Enchantments... Enchantment?"
Robyn's eyes widen and he steps away from Marina. His hand reaches into his satchel.

((Ok, so he wouldn't be that entranced, not unless she was singing. He'd just be... Calm, a bit dazed, cheery, full of admiration. Her voice is soothing))
Marina: *cocks her head to the side* Is something wrong? *her voice is like sweet music, making him comfortable*

(( Eh. I would like to think that if she was singing Robyn wouldn't even be able to function, while when she's talking, he just has a hard time doing things. Both are sort of extremes, but since Marina already has a hold on Robyn, the siren voice and songs would be more potent. ))
Robyn pulls two small white pieces of wax from his satchel.
"I... Ye- No..."
He drops the wax into the muddy ground.
"Everything is fine..."
He smiles, looking relaxed.

((Makes sense))
Marina: *looks confused* Um- Oh! *it dawns on her* I-I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean- *her excited voice is like a bell ringing beneath deep waters, the sound dances through the night air*

Robyn sighs contentedly, her voice resonating in his head.

Marina: *looks down, she shakes her head as a pale green light flows from the orb charm on her necklace and surrounds her. She slowly rises out of the water and onto the shore, looking like her average, human self. She looks at Robyn sheepishly* Sorry about that...

Robyn snaps back and checks himself quickly.
"Okay... I seem to be all here."
Robyn crouches down and picks up the wax.
He looks up at Marina.
"Nothing to be sorry about. I'm still all here."

Marina: *smiles faintly* I-I still have to get used to that... *she looks down at herself* As much as I don't like this form it's the only way to communicate effectively... *:/* ((night!))

Robyn frowns.
"I'll have to find a way to not succumb to your voice."

Mithwin: *hears the scream and stumbles over to raven.. She practically collapses next to her.. And she whispers* it's ok raven... It was a dream...

Marina: *looks down, a touch of sadness in her still-beautiful voice* I-I'm afraid that has already been looked into... And there is but one way to resist *she sounds more sad* To not hear it *she glances at the wax earplugs*

Robyn sighs.
"Of course... But hey, I've got nothing to lose to at least try to find something."

Marina: *shrugs, still looking sad*
((I'm thinking this could be like a confessor type thing? Are you familiar with it? Like, her power (voice in this case) makes men helpless to resist her, but if someone cares for her truly, they will begin to keep their mental stableness while still being entranced and full of awe? Or should there just be some sort of magic involved that allows Robyn to hear her beautiful voice but keep his sanity?))

Robyn shifts closer to Marina.
"We should probably get back to the camp. That way we can get to the retired priestess quickly."

Marina: *looks up and nods, a strange look appears on her face when he mentions the priestess*

Robyn thinks for a moment.
"Is there something wrong between you and the priestess?"

Marina: *looks up* Hmm? Oh, no... Nothing...

Robyn scans her face.
"Hm... If you decide that it is indeed something, fell more than free to tell me about it."

Marina: *looks up at him, her eyes appear like a child's* Well... I haven't been completely honest...

Robyn: "Obviously. But it doesn't matter much. No one is completely honest."

Marina: I-I know... But I'm tired of secrets, and I'm tired of having to be someone that I'm not
