Nothing but poetry! No cursing, be nice to everyone or your posts WILL be removed! Be appropriate! Also refrain from using this site as a sudjestion or question box.... that is what the suggestion thread in the general topics section is for. And yes you can post gory, melencholy, romantic, creepy or whatever poetry you want as long as it follows the above rules. If you have any questions (concerning this or any other thread I create) about rules etc please post them in the "questions about chinasalliecat's threads" box. Have fun:P

Seeping secrets

Dark and deathly sleep,
Find someone to keep
all your secrets locked away
In these dreams they must stay

If they fail to supply
Then they will surely die

They will all just go to sleep
With the ones who where to keep

He flies 

The moonlight glistens, the darkness creeps
An angel listens, a child sleeps.
In the darkness a lone owl cries, 
Opening a wolf's cold eyes
And the moonlight glistens, the darkness creeps

The child whimpers, a cougar leaps
The angel weeps, the reaper reaps.
In his grim mask, he goes where she lies,
With her soul on wing he flies

The Night

The night is a cool embrace
It's moon's gentle glow soothes the wanderers tired face

The black of night comforts those alone.
The cyote's call seems a moan.

The night envelopes dreams and fears.
The owl that hoots, a child hears.

Those lost within the night,
Are guided by the North Star's brilliant light.

It shelters those who wish to stay;
So soon night brings the light of day.

Death (a senryu)

Death is as a mist
It drifts towards you in silence,
Then overtakes you

Remorse (a haiku) 

A cyote's cry sounds;
Regretful of past wrong.
But now all is lost.

Can you hear the Night Wind singing?
In its mournful awful way.
And you can feel the Death it is bringing
To tell you to give Life as pay.

You can hear the birds are silenced.
You can hear the ocean's still.
You can feel the Night Wind breathing
You can feel the every kill.

You can close your eyes and wander
You can make your breathing cease
But nothing on this Earth can make you
Escape the Plaguing of Decease.

Early spring; the blossoms forming, everything filled with life. Tiny leaves basking in each shimmering ray of sunlight available. He kneels, his reflection shimmering in a glassy turquoise lake. He knows not why he has come to rest here but perhaps there is no need to know. For without knowledge he waits for her. Her siren's call is strong in this place. She has been long is search of him, drawing him ever nearer. He feels a presence here and a desire, and as a gentle breeze brushes his face he realizes she has come. Tho he knows not who she is or from whence she came, he now knows why he is here, why this place has called him so fiercely. He stands as gentile fingers brush his arm and turns to her. . . .

the sun is set,

small things are met.

The grass is green,

and in it all,

I remember I am too,
