Zones (Apocalyptic Roleplay)

Carissa: *climbs from the crevice and navigates through the tight crawl tunnel back into the cave and out into the tunnel... Sees her with the cigarette and wrinkles her nose* hmm.. Can I borrow your lighter?

Ransom: don't bother. I'm not going to be smoking around you.

Carissa: no really... I need to burn something... *she sounds unwilling to tell what it is exactly that she needs to burn*

Ransom: and that is...?

Neko gets up from the bed, gas mask still on, he opens the door and looks around he takes out whatever possible currency this world may have and places it on the bed before absconding from the area.

((Oh btw something I forgot to add with my character was that she was a convicted felon, released for only about a year))

Carissa: oh.. Just some.. Stuff *looks around nervously*

((This world just uses gold silver and bronze as currency because. You know. I'm lazy.))

Ransom: I understand. *tosses silver lighter at Carissa*

Carissa: *grabs the lighter and scampers off towards the garbage dump area.. She finds some old gas and pours it on the body... Then she lights it... She returns shortly smelling of burnt flesh and gasoline.. Some smoke drifts up* thanks. *tosses back the lighter*

((No way! Qwyn is a convicted felon too! She was an inventor and attacked her bosses... Long story. Anyway she was outcast then snuck back into the zones))

((And Carissa is just standing there smelling like burnt flesh... And she just thanked ransom))

Ransom: *recognizes the scent, but says nothing. She smiles grimly and accepts the lighter*

Jezwren: *completely absorbed in the notes. She suddenly takes out a strange looking pen thing and begins scribbling furiously, not noticing the almost imperceptible sounds as Neko leaves*

Qwyn: *strolls down the street towards the other two* Hi guys!

Ransom: *stuffs lighter in pocket* hey Qwyn!

Qwyn: *props herself against a wall, begins polishing her metal wrists bands with her sleeve and casually asks* What'd I miss?

Ransom: nothing. I'm off work today.

Carissa: *decides a brief explanation might be necessary* I.. Ran into a guard last night and he was about to call a security breech.. *shrugs* if they came they would have searched the area and would have found some things they don't need to know about.

Ransom: we've all been in that situation before.

Carissa: *nods* well I usually have this problem a few times a night.

Neko moves down the street again. He passes by the group again and waves.
