Victus smirks

Shyrii: *smiles, taking his hand and powering them up to the roof once more*

Victus lays down the blue prints and starts making cubes of the dark purple substance.

Shyrii: I'll be right back! *flies away and returns in a few minutes, her arms laden with fooooood* Hungry? *bites into a fresh loaf of bread, still warm from some oven*

Zeb: *wispers* its not the first time iv had that dream... I haven't slept for 3 days... And this is a good week... The worst it's been was 2 weeks without sleep I finally passed out.... Slept an entire day.. *he pauses to steady his voice* it's the day of the killings... Every time I go to sleep I see it... And feel it... I can feel the heat as they burned me alive... I was dead three days... I woke under a pile of corpses... I awoke looking into my baby sisters cold dead eyes.. But this this time.. The dream was different... *he shivers*

"You bet! Haven't eaten a thing all day!"
Victus takes an apple.

Avet: *looks solemn, she stares up at him* You're safe with me.... What was it?

Shyrii: *grins, taking a chunk of cheese and eating bite of bread, cheese, bread, cheese*

Victus takes a bite out of the apple and continues creating dark matter blocks.

Zeb: *shivers..* I... I don't think... *he squeezes her tight* I wasn't watching me burn.... *his voice sounds detached*

Avet: *pulls him close* you can tell me...

Zeb: *kisses the top of her head* I'm.. I'm not sure I can.. *he fights himself and tries to speak...*

Avet: It's up to you... *she is warm in his arms, her heart breaks seeing him like this*

Shyrii: *munches her way through a pear and orange, watching with fascination, not making a sound for fear of disturbing V*

Soon Victus has a large pile of dark matter bricks. He takes a few and starts shaping them around his feet to make boots.

Zeb: *leans down and kisses her* it... I.... *he closes his eyes* I saw... I saw you.... I would watch myself burn a thousand times before seeing you harmed even once... *he looks into her eyes..* I love you avet.

Shyrii: *continues to observe with awe, watching the matter swarm around his feet, leaving in it's wake boots*

Victus finishes creating the lower half of the armor.
"Time to test this out before I go any farther."
Victus looks over the edge of the roof, getting ready to jump.

Avet: *throws her arms around him, kissing him passionately, she pulls back* I love you too, Zeb.

Shyrii: If you kill yourself.. *an almost protective gleam enters her eye* I know we have Zeb and all but... *eyes plead*

"Don't worry. I can't really die."
He walks off the building.

Shyrii: *shakes her head, diving after him, her newly-armored wings clasped to her sides*

Victus slams on the ground, legs first. He gives a thumbs up to Shyrii.
